Aftercare Booklet
This booklet has been put together to help you in a practical way.
It is in a PDF file which you should be able to dowload easily.
It will be revised on a regular basis, to make sure you are kept up to date on any new information to be added to the Booklet, I will be adding any new information below the link for the booklet, this way you will be able to see anything new we do find and it will be made available to you as soon as we find out about this. So you do not have to wait for the new information till the next update.

New Information to be added to the Aftercare Booklet when it is next revised:
Instillagel: Is an excellent Numbing Gel which can be used after vulval surgery, please check with your nurse this will be safe for you to use, and if so please as stated throughout the Aftercare Booklet do a skin sensitivity test on a small area of your vulva, before you apply it to the whole of the vulva.
We have found putting this gel in the fridge it is a lot more soothing when you apply it. It will be very cool and will immeditately ease any pain, discomfort or itching until it does acutallly numb your vulva which is usually within a few minutes.
This Gel can only be prescribed by your GP or your Consultant, you cannot buy this over the counter.
